Meet Dr. Serena Peng

Originally from Taiwan, Dr. Serena Peng has practised dermatology in Shanghai since 2014, caring for adults and children in English and Mandarin. Her experience spans public hospitals and international private practice, with dermatology training at Huashan Hospital and training in dermatology and internal medicine at Zhongshan Hospital, both affiliated with Fudan University.

Her practice includes acne, atopic dermatitis (eczema), hair and scalp disorders, mole checks and skin cancer screening, dermatologic surgery and aesthetic dermatology. Consultations consider each patient’s medical history, skin findings, skincare routine and lifestyle.

She combines evidence-based medicine with thoughtful, open communication. Understanding that cultural background shapes personal concerns and expectations, she works with each patient to develop a treatment plan suited to their needs, lifestyle and preferences.
